Graduate (MS or PhD) Assistantship in Land Surface Modeling

I am seeking one or two highly motivated graduate students to join my lab (http://sci.sdsu.edu/emaillab/) at San Diego State University, starting Fall 2020.
The student will be primarily working on improving and applying isotopic methane module within the framework of the CLM-Microbe model (https://github.com/email-clm/clm-microbe). 
The student will have opportunities to interact with a multi-disciplinary team of experimentalists,data scientists,mathematicians, and computer scientists. 
The applicants should possess a degree in ecology/biology, hydrology, meteorology, geography, earth system science,forestry, agronomy, or soil science. Quantitative skills and experience in ecosystem modeling are desirable.
